Carole is our go-to expert for all things Passive House. She is not only a highly skilled architectural designer, she’s a passionate advocate for energy-efficient, sustainable buildings that are healthy for people and the environment.
Carole’s technical expertise was honed over two decades in the luxury sphere. As a graduate architect, Carole designed high street shops for Italian labels Missoni Sport and I Pinco Pallino before taking up a role designing furniture for Christian Dior boutiques.
Her early immersion in the demanding world of haute couture was followed by stints renovating luxury apartments for BureauParis and designing luxury hotels in France and Cambodia.
Arriving in Australia in 2008, she was snapped up by Archisoul and has since completed numerous designs for residential renovations, new homes and commercial buildings.
Carole is focused on minimising the environmental impact of architecture by reducing energy consumption, extending structural life cycles and incorporating sustainable materials into her design practice. In 2020, she completed the Passive House course and was certified as a Passive House Designer and Consultant.
Carole loves a challenge. From improving the quality and thermal performance of existing buildings to designing a new home to meet rigorous Passive House standards, there’s no problem too big for her to solve.
She believes that successful design evolves from a relationship of trust between architect and client. Applying her unique skill set, Carole turns visions into architecture and clients love the results.
