Archisoul is very proud to have attained DA approval for a 650m2 luxury, waterfront home situated in a stunning hillside location in Seaforth.
The secluded site has a unique outlook across Middle Harbour towards the Explosive Reserve and Sugar Loaf Bay.
Perched high and surrounded by pristine bushland, it presented many challenges in the design process, including steep topography and being an ecological habitat for threatened species while also located in a Bushfire Flame Zone.
Our brief was to design a large family home with generous spaces for family interaction that could also accommodate frequent visits from family and friends based overseas.
Archisoul’s response was to create a two-winged design centred on the double-height entrance lobby, featuring an open, central staircase, a showpiece fireplace and expansive glazing to draw attention to the incredible views. The living rooms connect seamlessly to the outdoor spaces and swimming pool, providing a focal point for family life and relaxation.
While the home has a southern aspect, sunlight is drawn into the rooms through high windows on the north side. This north-south orientation captures the summer breeze to naturally ventilate and cool internal spaces.
