Harrison Dumesich

Graduate

Harrison joined Archisoul in 2020 and initially worked as an assistant while studying, aiding the office in documentation, rendering and design. He has also managed and designed some special projects including an giant 3D bee as an art/ awareness installation for an exhibition in Katherine, for renowned singer – Toni Childs.

Harrison is interested in the crossover of Art and Architecture, in his studies he has explored the role of exploration as a function of space, and hopes to design buildings that encourage curiosity and connection to nature and to self.

Through his work at Archisoul, he has grown as a designer and a project manager. In 2022 Harrison graduated with a Masters of Architecture from the University of Sydney. He specialised in material science and sustainable design details.

Now a project leader at Archisoul, he has diverse experience in residential and small commercial projects. Harrison was tasked with studying and navigating the new Class 2 – Design and Building practitioners Act processes, and has helped direct clients, builders and engineers through what can be a pain staking process of Class 2 apartment renovations.

His belief is that through clarity and openness of communication, the design process can be just as satisfying as the end result. Harrison hopes to become a registered architect as his experience continues, and continue with Archisoul to produce more great projects.

Outside of his professional life, Harrison is an avid soccer player, showcasing his competitive spirit. He also enjoys exploring the Australian wilderness, and taking inspiration from nature.
